The learned counsel for the petitioner taking me through the averments in the affidavit filed in support of the petition would state that the petitioner is taking care of her two minor children and she has already initiated proceedings in HMOP No.5 of 2026 on the file of Sub Court, Sathyamangalam seeking restitution of conjugal rights. The learned counsel also stated that no prejudice would be caused to the respondent, if the proceedings in HMOP No.57 of 2024, initiated by him seeking divorce is transferred for joint trial to be tried along with HMOP No.5 of 2026 pending on the file of Sub Court, Sathyamangalam. 3. I am satisfied that the petitioner has made out sufficient cause for transferring the proceedings initiated by the respondent and hence, I am inclined to allow this petition. 4. Accordingly, the proceedings in HMOP No.57 of 2024 is withdrawn from the file of Family Court, Coimbatore and the same is transferred to the file of Sub Court, Sathyamangalam to be jointly tried along with HMOP No.5 of 2026. __________ Page2 of 4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis TR CMP No. 360 of 2026 5. The Family Court, Coimbatore is directed to send the entire records relating to HMOP No.57 of 2024 to the file of Sub Court, Sathyamangalam forthwith. There shall be no order as to costs.
