And In the matter of: Manju Sutradhar @ Manja & Ors. ….Petitioners. Mr. Sagar Saha, …for the Petitioners. Mr. Panchali Deb Sikder (Nag), Ld. Sr. Adv., Ms. Ruchika Agarwala, Mr. Debabrata Rai, … for the State. Mr. Sourav Lohani, Ms. Soumili Chatterjee, ……….. for the Defacto Complainant 1. The application for anticipatory bail is canvassed on the ground that the injuries of the victim are not grievous in nature. 2. This Court has seen the photographs of the victim. She appears to have been tied up separately with ropes and appears to be bleeding. The injuries caused the victim are all after restraining her with force. 3. It appears that the principal accused husband is absconding except one Mamoni Das @ Piu Das who is the daughter of said doctor (Tantreek) Ajit Das. There is clear evidence of inhuman torture afflicted on the victim. 4. In the light of the above, this Court is not inclined to entertain the application of the anticipatory bail of the petitioner. 5. The application for anticipatory bail is thus dismissed. 2 6. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court. (Rajasekhar Mantha, J.)
