Learned counsel for the applicant would submit that in a connected matter, being C-528 Application No. 909 of 2026, arising out of the same set of facts and involving the present applicant, co-accused persons as well as respondent no.2, this Court has already allowed the said application on the ground that the dispute between the parties stood amicably settled in a civil suit instituted before the competent court for recovery of the alleged embezzled amount. It is further submitted that in view of the aforesaid settlement, no useful purpose would be served in pursuing the present application, and therefore, permission may be granted to withdraw the same. 5. Learned counsel for the State as well as learned counsel for respondent no.2 do not oppose the prayer made by 2026:UHC:3440 learned counsel for the applicant. 6. In view of the submissions made and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, permission is granted to withdraw the present application. 7.
