The petitioner is the father of V.Mythili/ detenue, whose date of birth is 23.01.2008. He has approached this Court stating that she was missing from 18.06.2026 and despite approaching the police, there was no move to trace his daughter. 2.When the matter had come up for admission on 06.07.2026, Mr.Malarvannan had instructions to state that the detenu had married R3 and they had appeared before the Muthandi Kuppam Police Station, Cuddalore District. We hence directed production of both detenu and R3 and also directed the petitioner to be present in Court. 3.On interacting with the detenu today, we find that she is very clear that she does not wish to return to her parents as she claims to be married to R3 on 24.06.2026 and wishes to go with him. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis HCP No. 1182 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 4.In light of the fact that the detenu is a major as on date, there being no dispute in regard to her date of birth, we record the aforesaid narration and close this petition.
