According to petitioner, he was engaged on contract in Permanent Lok Adalat, Haridwar on 10.11.2017 for discharging duties as Stenographer and he has served in that capacity ever since then. It is contended that certain vacancies available in Permanent Lok Adalat were notified to the Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission and UKSSSC has made recommendation for appointing certain persons, therefore, there is threat of disengagement looming large over the head of the petitioner. It is further contended that certain vacancies would be available, even after joining of regularly selected candidates, therefore, petitioner can be adjusted against those vacancies. 6. Mr. Rajeev Singh Bisht, learned State Counsel submits that if what petitioner says is correct, then he is at 2026:UHC:3446 liberty to make representation to the Competent Authority. 7. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of with liberty to petitioner to make representation to the Competent Authority regarding his engagement against other posts, which are still vacant. If petitioner makes representation within two weeks from today, decision thereupon shall be taken by the Competent Authority, as per law, within four week thereafter.
