ORDER The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 1st and 2nd respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.12.2024.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner entered into a contract with the second respondent on 21.10.2022 for executing the work titled "Providing power segregation work inside Arulmigu Arunachaleswarar Temple at Tiruvannamalai". The said contract was completed on 29.01.2024. The second respondent also issued a letter certifying that the petitioner had successfully completed the contract and is consequently entitled to the payment of the differential GST amount of Rs. 5,86,597/- as well as the withheld amount of Rs. 4,88,830/-. In this regard, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 02.12.2024. However, the same has not been considered till date. 3. Mr.D.Yashwanth Kan, learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the representation of the petitioner dated 02.12.2024 will be considered and appropriate orders will be passed.
4. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.
5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and the
submissions made by both sides, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, directs the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 02.12.2024 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
