The petitioner/wife seeks transfer of HMOP No.643 of 2025 filed by the respondent/husband before the II Additional Subordinate Court, Coimbatore. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner is a resident of Vellore and she finds it inconvenient to travel long distances to attend the proceedings pending before II Additional Subordinate Court, Coimbatore. 4. Learned counsel for the respondent would fairly state that the respondent has no serious objection in acceding to the request for transfer. However, he would request for personal appearance of the respondent being dispensed with for all hearings excepting where his presence would be absolutely necessary for recording his evidence in chief and cross examination. 5. In the light of the above, Tr.C.M.P.No.156 of 2026 is allowed and the proceedings in HMOP No.643 of 2025 is withdrawn from the file of II Additional Subordinate Court, Coimbatore and transferred to the file of Family Court, Vellore. 6. The Family Court, Vellore, on receipt of the records from the II Additional Subordinate Court, Coimbatore shall resume the hearing in HMOP No.643 of 2025 or 2/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis TR CMP No. 156 of 2026 newly assigned number as the case may be and shall not ordinarily insist on the presence of the respondent on all hearing dates excepting on dates when the presence of the respondent would be absolutely necessary for recording his evidence in chief and cross.
