ASHOK RAM V The Court made the following: 3 VS,J C.C.No.3910 of 2023 ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed for willful violation of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.4381 of 2023 on 10.03.2023, wherein this Court passed the following order: “….this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release the amount of Rs.70,00,000/- to the petitioner with a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. it is open to the petitioners to agitate his claim for interest, if any payable by the respondents, in an appropriate forum....” 2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the contemnors/respondents has furnished a copy of Letter No.CC.3910 of 2023 in WP 4381/2023, dated 03.07.2026, issued by the 2nd respondent, wherein it is stated that, out of the gross amount of Rs.81,76,587/-, a net amount of Rs.74,00,500/- was paid to the petitioners on 23.08.2024. Therefore, the learned counsel requested this Court to close the contempt case. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioners has also confirmed that the orders of this Court have been complied with by the respondents. 4. Recording the same, the Contempt Case is closed, as the respondents have already complied with the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.4381 of 2023, dated 10.03.2023.
