The present petition has been filed in Public Interest alleging that the private respondents no. 6 to 15 have made illegal encroachment over public utility land of Gram Sabha reserved for play ground (Khasra No. 390 Kha), Khad Gadha (Compost Pits) (Khasra No. 394), public way (Gohar) (Khasra No. 395) and Gram Sabha property (Khasra No. 390 Ka), Village Akbarpur Jhojha, Pargana Bhagwanpur, Tehsil Roorkee, District Haridwar.

In pursuance of previous order of this Court, learned Standing Counsel has placed on record the 1
2026:UHC:1611-DB instructions received from the concerned Tehsildar, in which, the stand taken is that proceedings under Section 122-B of the U.P.Z.A. & L.R. Act have already been initiated against the private respondents and the same are pending.

As the proceedings have already been initiated, and are pending, therefore, no further direction is required to be issued in the present petition except for the observation that the proceedings which are stated to be pending be taken to a logical conclusion expeditiously.

The petition stands disposed of.
