02 /23.03.2026: This bail application has been filed by the petitioner under Sections 483 & 484 of BNSS, 2023 wherein, prayer has been made for grant of bail as he is in custody for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 21(a) of the NDPS Act.
2. No one appears on behalf of the petitioner.
3. Heard, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order.
4. Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail.
5. Prosecution story in brief is that on secret information of sale and purchase of brown sugar the police party raided the place and arrested two persons.
6. From the joint possession of this petitioner and another 3.50 gram of brown sugar was recovered. It is alleged that they were dealing with the said brown sugar and selling the same.
7. The petitioner is in custody since 08.01.2026.

8. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Dhurwa (Hatia) PS Case No. 03 of 2026(N), pending in the Court of learned Judicial Commissioner cum Special Judge (NDPS) at Ranchi stands rejected.
9. Accordingly, this bail application is dismissed.
