The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that this is the second application seeking anticipatory bail. It is contended that, except for the allegations made in the complaint, there are no medical records to substantiate the prosecution case. Therefore, the petitioner seeks the relief of anticipatory bail. 3. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) opposed the application and submitted that the statement of the victim has already been recorded during the course of investigation. Considering the serious nature of the allegations, it is prayed that the petition be dismissed. 4. Considering the gravity and seriousness of the allegations levelled against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief of anticipatory bail. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner contended that there are no medical records to substantiate the allegations, this Court is of the view that it would be premature to examine the evidentiary value of the prosecution materials at this stage. Such issues are matters for trial. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. 06-07-2026 JRS https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis CRL OP No. 17090 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 4 Note: 1.
