At the outset, after arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner made a statement at the bar that he does not wish to press prayer (i), whereby the order dated 24.05.2023 passed by respondent no.1, the Board of Revenue, is challenged. 2. The prayer, so made, is granted. 3. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed as not pressed in respect of prayer no. (i) of the writ petition. 4. So far as prayer no. (ii) is concerned, the petitioner seeks a direction from this Court to the Board of Revenue to decide Revision No. 18 of 2022–23, Sri Suman Dev and another vs. Smt. Guddi Devi & others, expeditiously within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. 2026:UHC:387 2 5. It is contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the revision petition has been filed by Suman Dev and others before the Board of Revenue challenging the order dated 24.04.2023 passed by the Additional Collector, Dehradun. He further contends that the revision petition has been pending for disposal for the last three years, although it can be heard and decided immediately by the revisional court. 6. In view of the above, the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner is accepted. Accordingly, the writ petition is allowed. The learned Board of Revenue, Dehradun, is directed to decide Revision No. 18 of 2022-23, Sri Suman Dev and Another vs. Smt. Guddi Devi & Others, as expeditiously as possible, but not later than three months from the date of production of the certified copy of this order. 7.
