Heard, learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel for the State and have also gone through the impugned order. 3. Learned APP opposes the prayer for bail. 4. This is a case of extortion. Though the petitioner is not named in the First Information Report (FIR) but it is a fact that there are 17 cases pending against the petitioner. The cases are of extortion, Arms Act and also of murder. Considering the aforesaid fact, at this stage, I am not inclined to grant privilege of bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in connection with Barkagaon PS Case No. 187 of 2024, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Hazaribagh stands rejected. 6.
