A direction to the Standing Screening Committee of the Respondent/CISF at CISF Headquarters, New Delhi to decide the correctness/antecedents of the documents produced by Petitioners No. 1 to 15, showing proof in support of the fact that no case/FIR is pending against them, within Two weeks, as no cases, whatsoever, are pending against the Petitioners herein; and b. We have been observing that several petitions with identical reliefs have been filed by the officers working in CISF. We have been passing the orders directing the Standing Screening Committee [‘SSC’] to decide the correctness/antecedents of the documents produced by the force/personnel, who are petitioners in the writ petitions. 5. Appropriate shall be that a policy decision is taken that as and when the SSC is seized of the issue, the determination regarding the correctness and antecedents of the documents be made within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of such documents from the concerned force/personnel. 6. If such a policy decision is taken, it shall obviate the filing of writ petitions in this Court. The same will save the time of the Court. It shall entail the respondents take a decision without the force/personnel approaching this Court. Insofar as this petition is concerned the SSC shall decide the issue of correctness/antecedents of the documents within eight weeks. Needless to state that as and when the SSC decides the correctness/antecedents of the documents, it shall pass a reasoned and a speaking order. 7. The petition is dismissed. V.
