The petitioner is an accused in connection with Karmatanr P.S. Case No.106 of 2025. 3. It has alleged that the son of the informant was abducted by miscreants and ransom of Rs.8,00,000/- was demanded. 4. Submission has been advanced by the learned Counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has been implicated on the confession of co-accused Abdul Hasib and other accused persons, consequent to which the petitioner had also confessed. 5. Learned Counsel by referring to the statement of the victim has submitted that the victim had identified Hasib and Guddu and so far as the petitioner is concerned, he had heard the name of the petitioner when he was abducted. 6. Learned Counsel adds that the petitioner is in custody since 20.01.2026. 7. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail of the petitioner. 8. Regard being had to the dearth of evidence so far as the involvement of the petitioner is concerned, he is directed to be released ( 2026:JHHC:8170 ) on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned C.J.M., Jamtara in connection with Karmatanr P.S.
