Crl.O.P.No.16816 of 2026 25 of NDPS Act, in Crime No.264 of 2026, on the file of the respondent Police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2. The case of the prosecution is that there are totally four accused and the petitioner is arrayed as A4, and the total contraband involved in the case is 1.150 kgs of ganja. Hence, the case. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case and that he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution. He further submitted that the petitioner is ready to abide by any stringent conditions that may be imposed by this Court. Hence, he prayed to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), appearing for the respondent Police, reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that the investigation is still pending. He would further submit that, if the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail, there is every likelihood of his absconding and indulging in similar offences in future. 5. I have given my anxious consideration to either side submissions. 6. From the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), it is seen that the investigation is still pending. It is also evident that, if anticipatory bail is granted to the petitioner, it will have an adverse impact on society. Considering the antecedents of the petitioner, the nature of the allegations and the interest of society at large, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 7.
