The petitioner has prayed for the following reliefs in the petition : 10.1 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to issue a writ/order/direction directing the respondent No.5 to compensate the petitioner to the tune of Rs. 20 lac. 10.2 That this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to conduct an enquiry against the above action of the respondent authorities. 10.3 Any other relief deemed fit in the facts and circumstances of the case 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that by efflux of time, this petition has become infructuous. 3. Evidently, the reliefs prayed for cannot be granted by way of this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India. 4. At this stage, learned counsel submits that there lies an alternative efficacious remedy available to the petitioner under the law, therefore, he prays for liberty to avail the same . 5. Accordingly, the Petition is dismissed, as having become infructuous.
