Respondent Prayer: Civil Revision Petition is filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to allow this civil revision petition directing the IV Additional District Court, Madurai, to expedite the trial in I.A.No.2 of 2026 and I.A.No. 1 of 2025 along with R.L.T.A.No.42 of 2025 in an effective manner within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.R.G.Shankar Ganesh ORDER This civil revision petition is filed seeking a direction to the IV Additional District Court, Madurai, to expedite the hearing in I.A.No.2 of 2026 and I.A.No.1 of 2025 along with R.L.T.A.No.42 of 2025 within a stipulated time fixed by this Court. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner filed a petition seeking re-possession against the respondent and 1/4 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis the same was allowed by the Rent Court. Aggrieved by the same, the respondent preferred an appeal in R.L.T.A.No.42 of 2025 and the same is pending on the file of the IV Additional District Court, Madurai. It is further stated by the counsel that the petitioner was set ex-parte in the appeal and he filed an application to set aside the ex-parte order in I.A.No.2 of 2026. The same is pending without any progress. Hence, he has come before this Court seeking speedy disposal. 3.A perusal of the online status filed in support of the typed set of papers would indicate that the petitioner filed an application in I.A.No.2 of 2026 as early as Feb-2026 and the same has not been disposed of till date. 4.Taking into consideration I.A.No.2 of 2026 filed by the petitioner is only an application to set aside the ex-parte order, this Court is inclined to direct the learned IV Additional District Judge, Madurai, to dispose of I.A.No.2 of 2026 as expeditiously as possible.
