judgment rendered in W.P.No.8698/2016 dt.21.9.2017 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of rights guaranteed under Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and revise the pay of the writ petitioner and pass IA NO: 1 OF 2018 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased to direct the respondent authorities to reckon the unaided service w.e.f.20.8.1984 till 31.10.1989 for the purpose of career advancement scheme and automatic advancement scheme in pursuant to the judgment rendered in W.P.No.8698/2016 dt.21.9.2017 and revise the pay of the writ petitioner pending disposal of the above writ petition and pass Counsel for the Petitioner:

ORDER:
This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-
“….to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the respondent authorities with regard to not reckoning the unaided service rendered from 20.8.1984 till 31.10.1989 for the purpose of career advancement scheme and automatic advancement scheme in pursuant to the
judgment rendered in W.P.No.8698/2016 dt 21.9.2017 as illegal, arbitrary and violative of rights guaranteed under Article 14, 16 and 21 of the Constitution of India and revise the pay of the writ petitioner ….”
2. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Education.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue in the present Writ Petition is squarely covered by the earlier orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.28699 of 2024 dated 18.02.2026.
4. Learned Government Pleader for Education does not dispute the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner.
5. The operative portion of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.28699 of 2024 dated 18.02.2026, reads as under:
“….8. Considering the above submissions and on perusal of the observations made by the Division Bench of this Court in W.P.Nos.3460 of 2010 and 19171 of 2015, the writ petition is allowed directing the respondents to revise the pay scales of all the petitioners for Aided Posts by taking into account of their services rendered in unaided post i.e., from the date of approval in their

respective schools and communicate to the petitioners within a period of two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order..”

Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the case and for the reasons alike in the aforesaid order, as the petitioner herein is similarly situated to that of the petitioners therein, the present Writ Petition is allowed in terms of the order dated 18.02.2026 passed by this Court in W.P.No.28699 of
2024. There shall be no order as to costs.
7. The Registry is directed to enclose a copy of the order passed in W.P.No.28699 of 2024 dated 18.02.2026 to this order. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall also stand closed. __________________ JUSTICE V.SUJATHA Date: 29.06.2026 KGR
