However, it appears that the petitioner failed to appear for the enquiry. Consequently, this Court was constrained to pass an order on 08.06.2026 in the present contempt petition, which reads as follows:- ''2. When the matter came up for hearing, the learned Government Standing Counsel would submit that eventhough notices have been sent for enquiry, the petitioner is not appearing in the matter. 3. In view thereof, let the petitioner appear before the Tahsildar, Paramakudi, on 22.06.2026 or any such date as may be instructed by the Tahsildar, thereafter. Let the further proceedings be undertaken and report be filed before this Court. 4. Call the matter on 29.06.2026.'' 3. Prima facie, it appears that the writ petition itself ought not to have been entertained, as the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents is essentially private in nature. Nevertheless, this Court had entertained the writ petition and passed an order dated 10.12.2025. 5. In view of the subsequent action taken by the third respondent, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.
