Jiarul Sk. @ Haque @ Md. Jiarul Hoque Vs. State of West Bengal & Anr.
Md. Jannat Ul Firdous
Mr. Rajesh Naskar
…for the petitioner.
Mr. Ooiseeroop Sinha
…for the State.
1. Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that in the connected criminal proceeding before the Learned Trial Court, the recording of evidence of the witnesses has commenced.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner prays that in view of such progress of the trial, the present revisional application has become infructuous and may be dismissed as such.
3. Considering the innocuous prayer of the petitioner, I am inclined to allow it.
4. C.R.R. 2333 of 2024 is thus dismissed as infructuous.
5. The Learned Trial Judge, however, is directed to bring the trial to a just conclusion as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
6. There shall be no order as to costs.
7. Interim order, if any, also stands vacated.
