CARAP No.17 of 2026 By way of this application, a prayer has been made for release of the amount which has been deposited by the State with the Registry of this Court. In light of the fact that now even the appeal preferred by the State under Section 37 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act stands dismissed by the Court on 02.03.2026 and no material has been placed on record to suggest that the State till date has assailed the said judgment, the application is allowed and the amount which has been deposited by the State with the Registry of this Court, is ordered to be released in favour of the applicant with up-to-date interest, if any. Learned Counsel for the applicant submits that there is a shortfall in the deposition of the amount and the State be directed to make good said shortfall. It is not for this Court to pass any such order in this application. In case it is so, it is for the claimant to file appropriate execution proceedings in the Court.
