Prosecution case, in brief, is that petitioner while functioning as Executive Assistant in electricity supply office, dishonestly collected money from the consumers on pretext of facilitating bills and thus, petitioner illegally collected Rs. 4,50,000/-. 4. Petitioner was posted as Executive Assistant in the power supply department, Gaya and has accepted collection of Rs. 3,05,581/- from the consumers and issued receipt of the same amount on Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.144 of 2026(2) dt.20-01-2026 2/2 carbon copy of earlier issued receipt in the name of Rama Kant Kumar.
