Learned advocate representing petitioners complains of threat and intimidation by respondent no.7 and his associates on 5th October, 2025. Petitioners pray for direction upon concerned police authorities for taking steps for recovery of possession of premises in question where petitioners were staying as tenant. 2. State respondents are represented by learned advocates. 3. On perusal of complaint dated 5th October, 2025 it does not appear that petitioners were driven out of their residence on 5th October, 2025 but they were threatened to be driven out. Therefore, based on complaint dated 5th October, 2025 it cannot be inferred that petitioners were dispossessed of their premises being tenant. 4. If there is dispute with regard to occupation of premises in question as tenant and according to petitioners if it is found that they are having right to 2 recover possession of tenanted premises, in that event petitioners are at liberty to approach civil court in pursuit of remedy. 5. Police authority is not appropriate authority to take steps for recovery of possession of petitioner being tenant of premises in question. 6. Hence, no order need be passed on this writ petition and same stands disposed of. 7. However, this order shall not preclude petitioners to take steps in accordance with law. 8.
