The petitioner seeks quashing of the FIR in connection with Diamond Harbour Police Station Case No. 214 of 2025 dated 27th June, 2025. This Court is informed that charge-sheet has been submitted in the said case upon completion of investigation. In view of the same, the petitioner is at liberty to approach appropriate forum of redressal of his grievance. The petitioner also seeks restoration of custody of the child as well as restoration of the proceedings of the Act VIII Case being No. 88 of 2025, which was pending before the learned District Judge, Alipore. I am afraid this Court has no authority to deal with the said prayer in the present determination. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the appropriate forum in this regard. Since nothing further remains to be dealt with in the present matter, the same is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
