The petitioner is aggrieved of the impugned notice at Annexure-A dated 09.01.2026 issued by the respondent–Revenue Inspector and the Village Accountant, Bajire Village, Belthangady Taluk. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed an application for regularization of unauthorized occupation of 50 cents of land in Survey - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:6012 WP No. 3144 of 2026 No.39/1A of Bajire Village, Belthangady Taluk, Dakshina Kannada District on 05.02.2019 which is registered as NCR-9475/2018-19. Even before the said application is considered, the impugned notice has been issued. 4. Having regard to the contentions of the petitioner, since the application filed for regularization of unauthorized occupation is still pending consideration, respondent Nos.3 and 4 could not have issued the impugned notice. Moreover, it is questionable as to the authority of respondent Nos.3 and 4 in issuing such a notice. 5. Accordingly, the impugned notice at Annexure- A issued by respondent Nos.3 and 4 is hereby quashed and set-aside. 6. Respondent No.2–Tahsildar, Belthangady Taluk is hereby directed to consider the application said to have been filed by the petitioner on 05.02.2019 for regularization of unauthorized occupation. The Tahsildar - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:6012 WP No. 3144 of 2026 shall place the application along with his recommendation before the Committee for regularization of unauthorized occupation and the Committee shall further consider the application in accordance with law and dispose of the same. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
