By this petition, petitioners are seeking direction upon respondents to take immediate action for removing the diversion and restore the original flow of the Nallah Filtration Plant and Spring. 02. The petitioners are inhabitants of village Brinal Devsar, District Kulgam and adjacent to the said village, there is a Nalla Filtration Plant and Tajwangie Naag (spring). The villagers are cultivating their crops and also use the water of the said Nallah Filtraiton Plant and spring for irrigation of their land and drinking purposes. It is further stated that the respondents herein, are diverting the Nallah Filtration Plant and Tajwangie Naag (spring) without taking into consideration its repercussions. It is stated that the petitioners herein, approached the respondents with various representations, but no heed has been paid to the said representations of the petitioners by the respondents. 03. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would feel satisfied if the respondents are directed to treat the instant petition Mohammad Yaseen Dar I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document as their representation, consider and decide the same within a reasonable time. His statement is taken on record. Learned counsel for the respondents is not averse to the proposition made by the learned counsel for the petitioners. 04. In view of above and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the instant petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to treat the petition of petitioners as their representation, consider and decide the same within a weeks’ time from today by a speaking order. 05.
