3. S.Prince Peter ..Respondent(s) Prayer: Civil Revision Petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, to direct the Registry to number the unnumbered I.A.SR.No.3451 of 2024 in I.A.No.206 of 2018 in O.S.No.152 of 2010 on the file of the Subordinate Court, Coonoor. For Petitioner(s): M/s.S.A.Mahisha Kirthika ORDER The revision petitioner is the plaintiff in O.S.No.152 of 2010 before the Subordinate Court, Coonoor. The said suit was decreed and a preliminary decree was also passed on 25.10.2019. The petitioner was directed to pay Rs.10,000/- towards Court Fee, for passing the final decree. The petitioner, expressing financial difficulties and also advanced age being one of the reasons, https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
CRP No. 3706 of 2026 __________ Page2 of 5 stated that she was unable to arrange for necessary funds to be paid within the stipulated time. The petitioner therefore took out an application on 30.07.2024, seeking extension of time to pay the Court Fee, in other words, sought for condonation of delay in payment of Court Fee of Rs.10,000/-. The said application, according to the petitioner, is yet to be numbered and has been kept pending for close to two years. Hence, the present revision has been filed, seeking suitable directions to the Subordinate Court, Coonoor. 2. Considering the limited scope of relief sought for in the revision petition, I am inclined to dispense with notice to the respondents. 3. The petitioner admittedly was called upon to pay the Court Fee of Rs.10,000/-, which has not been paid in time. In order to condone the delay in payment of the said amount, an application has been taken out in IA.SR.No.3451 of 2024 as early as on 30.07.32024. It is unfortunate that the said application has been kept pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, Coonoor, for close to two years. It would suffice to issue necessary direction to the Subordinate Court, Coonoor, to dispose of I.A.SR.No.3451 of 2024 in I.A.No.206 of 2018, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
