ORDER The petitioner is before this Court seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation dated 26.03.2026. In the said representation, the petitioner has stated that a bus shelter was constructed in front of his house on 16.10.2018 and was subsequently dismantled to facilitate cable-laying work undertaken by CMRL. 2. The petitioner states that, after completion of the CMRL work, the second respondent proposes to reinstall the bus shelter at the same location in front of his house. According to the petitioner, such installation would obstruct the ingress and egress to his property. 3. The learned counsel appearing for the second respondent submitted that the petitioner’s representation can be considered in accordance with law within the time that may be stipulated by this Court. 4.
Recording the aforesaid submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the second respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 26.03.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. While considering the representation, the second respondent shall also examine the availability of any suitable alternative Government land for installation of the bus shelter. There shall be no order as to costs.
