This application has been filed to condone the delay of 1 day in filing the above appeal against the impugned order of the respondent dated 28.10.2025 of the Controller of Patents and Designs, Chennai in Patent Application No.202047004956. 2. Heard the learned counsel for the applicant. 3. Ms.S.Indumathi Ravi, learned Senior Panel Counsel for Central Government takes notice on behalf of the respondent. she submits that no sufficient reasons have been shown for the condonation of delay and, therefore, vehemently opposes this application. 4. However, considering the fact that the petitioner’s application for patent registration was rejected on the ground that the invention lacked an inventive step, and that, if the application is not heard on merits, it would cause serious prejudice to the petitioner. 5.
