No.1839 of 2026 ORDER (Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This contempt petition alleges non-compliance of the order dated 02.12.2025 passed in W.P.No.46334 of 2025, whereby the petition was disposed of with a direction to the competent authority to consider the grievance of the petitioner to provide a new polling booth under the mandate of Section 25 of the Representation of People Act, 1951. 2. A status report has been filed by the respondent by which the District Collector, Kancheepuram, vide order dated 15.06.2026 has rejected the representation filed by the petitioner. 3. In view of the aforesaid, the order of this Court has been complied with. However, the petitioner would be at liberty to assail the order, if so advised.
