Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that charge-sheet has been submitted in this case and a co- accused has been granted bail after arrest. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the State strongly opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail. He relies on the statements of witnesses and injury reports. One of the injury reports shows cut injuries on the back of the head requiring seven stitches for repair, the other one shows a cut injury on the face requiring 22 stitches for repair. 3. Considering the above, the other incriminating materials available in the case diary and the role ascribed to the present petitioner, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Jay Sengupta, J.)
