For the O.P. : A.P.P. --- 04/23.03.2026 Heard Mr. Gautam Kumar, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. The petitioner is an accused in connection with Katras P.S. Case No. 59/2025. The petitioner was suspected to have enticed away the daughter of the informant for the purposes of marriage. It has been submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody since 26.03.2025. It has also been submitted that the victim had refused to undergo the medical test. It appears from the statement of the victim recorded under Section 183 B.N.S.S. that she has supported the allegations and has also stated about the physical relationship the petitioner had established with her. It further appears that 05 witnesses including the victim have already been examined by the prosecution. On consideration of the aforesaid facts, I am not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
