The petitioners have filed this writ petition with the following prayers:- “10.1 That the Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue appropriate writ/order/direction quashing the impugned notices dated 09.09.2020 (Annexure P/1) issued by respondent No.5. 10.2 That the Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue appropriate writ/order/direction commanding respondent authorities not to demolish the houses and baadis of the petitioners and not to interfere with the possession of the petitioners on the subject land. 10.3 That, the Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue appropriate writ / order, directing the Respondent authorities to consider allotting the respective portion of lands on lease / 4 patta to the petitioners, considering the period for which they have been residing on the said land. 10.4 Any other relief(s), direction(s), which Hon'ble the Court deems fit, and proper, in the circumstances of the case.” 4. Today, when the case is called, learned counsel for the petitioners is not present nor any representation made on behalf of the petitioners to press this petition on repeated calls and it appears that the petitioners have lost interest in pursuing the matter, as such this Court has left with no other option, but to dismiss the writ petition for want of prosecution. 5.
