Heard Mr. K. V. Kharlyngdoh, learned counsel for the petitioner. 2. Ms. A. D. Syiem, learned GA, is present on behalf of the respondent Nos. 1 to 4. 3. No notice be necessary for the respondent No. 5. 4. It appears from the submissions and from the materials placed that the petitioner is seeking a direction that the Executive Magistrate, respondent No. 3, of the Ri Bhoi District, Nongpoh, afford the writ petitioner a fair hearing in Legal Heirship Case No. 2 of 2026, which is pending adjudication. 5. Though, learned counsel for the petitioner, has attempted to make out grounds to warrant interference, in the considered view of this Court the 2026:MLHC:714 3 writ petition is premature as the matter is still seized by the concerned court/authority. 6. In view of this matter, at this stage the petition is not entertained. Needless to add, in any forum it is expected that adequate opportunity be granted to the parties who appear before it to present their case. 7. Accordingly, the matter stands closed and disposed of.
