Denning, learned counsel for the applicant/ petitioner in CONT. CAS(C) No. 156 of 2025. By the present application, the applicant/petitioner prays for impleading the incumbent, Sheikh Abdul Hakim, MCS, Director (Social Welfare), Manipur, Government of Manipur, North AOC, P.O. & P.S. Imphal, Imphal West District, Manipur – 795001 as respondent No. 5 in the main contempt petition, i.e. CONT. CAS(C) No. 156 of 2025. It is submitted that the proposed respondent No. 5 is the incumbent Director and his presence will be necessary for disposal of the contempt petition. Mr. S. Nepolean, learned senior counsel and learned Government Advocate assisted by Mrs. R.K. Emily, learned Dy. Government Advocate for respondent No. 3; Mr. W. Niranjit, learned Dy. This Court has perused the material on record and the incumbent Director will be a necessary party in the contempt petition and accordingly, the application is allowed and the said incumbent, Sheikh Abdul Hakim, MCS, Director (Social Welfare), Manipur, Government of Manipur, North AOC, P.O. & P.S. Imphal, Imphal West District, Manipur – 795001 is impleaded as respondent No. 5 in CONT. CAS(C) No. 156 of 2025. Registry is directed to make necessary incorporation in the contempt petition. Petitioner is directed to file amended memo of parties physically as well as online. Mr. M. Rarry, learned senior counsel assisted by Ms. Nikita M., learned counsel and Mrs. H. Bisheshwari, learned counsel for the petitioners in the remaining contempt cases, sought for some time for moving appropriate application. Issue notice to the newly impleaded respondent No. 5 in CONT. CAS(C) No. 156 of 2025. Petitioner is directed to take steps to respondent No. 5 by speed post and dasti in addition within one week and file an affidavit of proof of service. MC(CONT.
