1. The petitioner as well as respondent No.9-Sakeena Riyaz are present in person which renders this writ petition to get disposal given the fact that the petitioner came forward with this writ petition instituted on 12.03.2026 by reference to an alleged cause of action related to alleged abduction of the respondent No.9- Sakeena Riyaz with whom the petitioner is said to have solemnized marriage even to the extent of getting a protection order dated 10.02.2026 from this Court in WP(C) No. 206/2026.
2. The respondent No.9-Sakeena Riyaz, upon examination by this Court, states that she was taken out of her matrimonial household in village Tapper Payeen, Waripora when she was in matrimonial company and custody of the petitioner when the respondent No.7- Mushtaq Ahmad Parray the maternal uncle of the respondent No.9-Sakeena Riyaz, accompanied by two policemen had come to the matrimonial household of petitioner and the respondent No.9-Sakeena Riyaz wherefrom the respondent No.9-Sakeena Riyaz was taken out to Police Post Chour from where the she was taken by respondent No.7-Mushtaq Ahmad Parray to his house wherefrom she has come today.
3. The respondent No.9-Sakeena Riyaz, submits that she intends to go and stay with the petitioner.
4. This petition is disposed of with a direction to the Senior Superintendent of Police, Sopore to ensure that the petitioner as well as respondent No.9-Sakeena Riyaz are in no manner bothered and disturbed by the parental family of the respondent No.9-Sakeena Riyaz and further to direct the concerned police station as well as concerned police post, be it related to the residential
place of the petitioner or the residential place of the respondent No.9-Sakeena Riyaz’s, parents from entertaining any complaint against the petitioner and respondent No.9-Sakeena Riyaz. Any breach of direction hereby issued by this Court meant for compliance on the part of the Senior Superintendent of Police District Sopore shall amount to disobedience of this Court’s order rendering him liable for contempt proceedings.
