In this writ petition, the petitioner has sought for the following relief: a) To set aside the provisional selection list dated 22.12.2025 issued by the 5th respondent to select the 6th respondent for the post of Anganawadi - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:3249 WP No. 1562 of 2026 Worker at Nernahalli Village, Anganawadi Worker at Nernahalli Village, which is produced at Annexure-G and issue the appointment order in favour of the petitioner for the post of Anganawadi Worker at Nernahalli Village, Mindigal Post, Chikkaballapur. b) To call for records and grant such other relief/s deems fit by this Hon’ble Court. 2. The case of the petitioner is that respondent No.2 has issued Notification inviting applications to fill up the post of Anganawadi Worker at Anganawadi Centre, Nernahalli Village. Pursuant to the notification, the petitioner as well as respondent No.6 had filed application to the said post. The Committee constituted for the selection of the candidates to the post of Anganawadi Worker has issued a provisional selection list dated 22.12.2025 vide Annexure-G showing the name of respondent No.6 to the post of Anganawadi Worker of Nernahalli Anganawadi Centre, Nernahalli Village. The specific case of the petitioner is that the respondent No.6 - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:3249 WP No. 1562 of 2026 is not the resident of Nernahalli Village and she is resident of Irgampalli Village, Chintamani Taluk. Additionally, as per the guidelines issued by the Government, respondent No.6 is not entitled to be appointed as Anganawadi Worker to Nernahalli Anganawadi Centre. The petitioner has filed detailed objections dated 31.12.2025 (Annexure-L) to the provisional selection list dated 22.12.2025 (Annexure-G). 3. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the writ petition is disposed of. 4. Respondent No.5 is directed to consider the objections dated 31.12.2025 (Annexure-L) filed by the petitioner to the provisional selection list before issuing the final selection list. Sd/- (H.T.
