The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking following reliefs:- “10.1 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondent No. 1 to consider case of the petitioner for grant of Senior Selection Scale as per existing rule and revised his pension case accordingly, within stipulated period. 10.2 That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to direct the Respondent No. 1 to consider case of the petitioner and decide pending representation of the petitioner (Annexure P/3), within stipulated period. 10.3 Any other relief, which this Hon’ble Court may deem fit may kindly be granted.” 2 2. At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the Respondent No. 1 to consider and take decision the representation (Annexure P/3) dated 15.04.2025 at the earliest within specified time. 3. On the other hand, learned counsel for the Respondents/State would submit that as petitioner is not pressing this writ petition on merits and is only seeking a direction to the Respondent No. 1 to take decision on the representation, he is having no objection to the limited prayer. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents placed on record. 5. On due consideration of the submission of counsel for the respective parties, facts and circumstances of the case, nature of grievance raised by the petitioner, without entering into the merits of the claim of petitioner, this writ petition at this stage is disposed of directing the Respondent No. 1 to consider and take decision on the representation (Annexure P/3) dated 15.04.2025 in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of 04 months from the date of receipt of representation. However, petitioner will be at liberty to submit afresh representation, if he so desires, and if such a representation is submitted, the concerned authority shall consider and take decision on the representation expeditiously, along with the pending representation. 6.
