It is the contention of the petitioner that the Committee for Regularization of Unauthorized Occupation’ resolved to grant 3.00 Acres of land to the petitioner in Sy.No.46 of Bhuvanahalli village, Kasaba Hobli, Hassan Taluk, in its resolution dated 18.10.1985. It is also contended that at Annexure-C is the order passed by the - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:4078 WP No. 1845 of 2026 Assistant Commissioner, Hassan Sub-Division, dated 24.01.1980, directing the Tahsildar to collect the kimmath and issue Saguvali Chits to all the grantees including the petitioner. It is contended that the Grant Certificate at Annexure-A dated 18.10.1985 has been issued to the petitioner. However, the name of the petitioner is not entered in the revenue records. The prayer is this writ petition is to direct to the respondent-Tahsildar, to consider the representation given by the petitioner dated 13.01.2026 as per Annexure-E, to enter his name in the revenue records. 3. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent-Tahsildar, Hassan Taluk, to verify the original Grant Register, the Saguvali Chit Issue Register, and other contemporaneous records to find out about the genuineness of the grant made in favour of the petitioner. If it is found that the claim made by the petitioner is genuine, then the Tahsildar shall proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the land - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:4078 WP No. 1845 of 2026 revenue records in accordance with law. The entire exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of Two (2) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
