Heard Mr.M.Arul, learned counsel for the petitioner; Mr.P.Pethu Rajesh, learned Standing Counsel for the State, appearing on behalf of the first and second respondents. 3. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 11.06.2026 requesting the respondent to permit her to discharge the dues under Gold Loan Pledge No. 1/3675 dated 01.06.2023 and upon such discharge, to release the pledged jewels. 2/5 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis W.P(MD)No.18182 of 2026 Since the said representation has not been considered till date, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition before this Court. 5. The learned counsel further submitted that it would suffice if this Court issues a direction to the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 11.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders thereon within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 6. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 11.06.2026 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law. Such exercise shall be completed as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
