Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the grant made in favour of the petitioner, - 3 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:4079 WP No. 1685 of 2026 Grant Certificate at Annexure-B dated 09.02.2018 has been issued by the Tahsildar, Belur Taluk on 19.03.2018. Further, the name of the petitioner is reflected at Annexure-A, RTC in column number 12. However, the 4th respondent-Tahsildar has failed to consider the application filed by the petitioner for mutation entry of his name in column number 9. 3. Consequently, the writ petition stands disposed of with a direction to the 4th respondent-Tahsildar, Beluru Taluk, Hassan District to consider the representation given by the petitioner at Annexure-C dated 19.05.2025, verify from the records regarding the genuineness of the claim made by the petitioner and if it is found that the claim is genuine, then proceed to enter the name of the petitioner in the RTC in column number 9.
