Sanjoy Singh, learned counsel appearing for petitioner and Mr. Shyam Sharma, learned GA appearing for all the respondents. [2] In view of the limited prayer made in this writ petition and as agreed to by both the counsel appearing for the parties, the present writ petition is being disposed of at the motion stage itself. [3] It has been submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that for redressing the grievances raised by the petitioner in this writ petition, the petitioner already submitted complaints/reports dated 26.02.2026 and 10.03.2026 to the Director General of Police, Manipur (respondent No. 2) with a copy to the S.P., Imphal West District, Manipur and the said complaints/reports are still pending for consideration and disposal. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied for the time being if the present application is disposed of by issuing a simple direction to respondent No. 2 to consider the said complaints/reports dated 26.02.2026 and 10.03.2026 on its own merit and strictly in terms of applicable rule and to pass necessary orders within a stipulated period. [5] Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the parties, this Court is of the considered view that it will be in the interest of justice to issue the following directions:- 1. The Director General of Police (DGP), Manipur is hereby directed to consider the said complaints/reports submitted by the petitioner dated 26.02.2026 and 10.03.2026 on its own merit and strictly in terms of applicable law and to pass appropriate orders. 2. It is made clear that the whole process should be completed within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 3. It is made clear that the respondent No. 2 should communicate to the petitioner the order or action taken report by the respondent No. 2 in connection with the said complaints/reports within a period of 2 weeks from taking such a decision in connection with the said complaints/reports.
