“It is therefore prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus or any other order or directing in the nature of the writ by directing the respondents to recast the seniority of the petitioner on a par with his batchmates recruited for the year 1994- 95 based on selection process marks by way of treating the petitioner as not being in excess of 1100 notified vacancies for the year 1994-95 for the post of S.I. of Police, pass such other orders as may be deemed fit and proper in the circumstances of the case and render justice.” TO THE FOLLOWING It is therefore prayed that this Hon’ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ of certiorarified mandamus or any other order or direction in the nature of the writ by calling for records and quashing the impugned order dated 02.02.2026 vide Rc.No. 32772954 / Rect 2(2) / 2025 issued by the 2nd respondent DGP publishing the final seniority list without including the first batch of 500 persons sent for training on 1/3/1996 as well as the left out group of 98 persons including the petitioner and consequently direct the respondents to fix petitioners seniority for the recruitment year 1994- 95 appointees who are in excess of the 1100 notified vacancies sent for training subsequent to 22/5/2000 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

2. Considering the fact that sufficient reasons have been stated in the affidavit filed in support of this amendment petition and also taking note of the fact that there is no serious objection from the respondent, this amendment petition is ordered as prayed for. 3.
