The complainant has filed the present complaint alleging willful disobedience of the order dated 01.12.2025, passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court in W.P.No.36091/2025 (EDN- RES). 2. In terms of the said order, the accused was directed to consider the application of the complainant for renewal of recognition for classes IX and X. The relevant part of the said order reads as under: "vi) Respondent No.4 shall reconsider the renewal application filed by the petitioner for renewal of recognition for classes IX and X bearing in mind the order passed by this Court in mind the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.12026/2023 dated 04.07.2023 and take appropriate decision/pass appropriate orders within a period of two weeks from 08.12.2025." 3. The learned counsel for the accused has handed over a status report dated 04.02.2026, (which is in kannada) indicating that renewal has been granted. - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:6655-DB CCC No. 28 of 2026 4. The learned counsel for the complainant submits that the renewal has been granted for a temporary period, which according to him is contrary to the directions issued by the State Government. 5. Given limited scope of the present proceedings, it is not necessary for this Court to examine any controversy regarding merits of the said order. 6. Since an order has been passed pursuant to the directions issued by this Court, we are unable to accept that any proceedings for contempt of Court are required to be initiated against the accused. 7. The complaint is, accordingly, closed. 8. However, we clarify that this order would not preclude the complainant from availing of remedies, if any, being aggrieved by the status report, that is handed over to the Court today.
