JUSTICE R DEVDAS ORAL ORDER At the oral request of the learned counsel for petitioner, the description of respondent No.4 is permitted to be corrected as the Tahsildar, Baindur Taluk. 2. It is the contention of the petitioner that 6 acres and 16 cents of land in Survey No.229/2A of Paduvari Village, Baindur Hobli, Baindur Taluk, stands in the name of the petitioner's grandfather late Kapsi Ahmed Saheb, S/o Isac Saheb. The petitioner's grandfather passed away in the year 1965. The petitioner's father, Sri Kapsi Abdul Gafoor also passed away on 15.09.2023. The petitioner being the only legal heir, who has succeeded to the estate of late Sri Kapsi Ahmad Saheba, has given a representation at Annexure-A dated 28.11.2025 to the respondent – Tahsildar, Baindur Taluk to enter the name of the petitioner in the revenue records, based on succession. However, the Tahsildar has not acted upon the application given by the petitioner. 4. Having regard to the contentions of the petitioner, the petition stands disposed of with a direction to the respondent No.4- Tahsildar, Baindur Taluk, to consider the representation given by the petitioner, verify as to who are the legal heirs of late Sri Kapsi Ahmed - 4 - HC-KAR NC: 2026:KHC:5758 WP No. 1069 of 2026 Saheb, who is the khathedar and proceed to enter the name of the legal heirs in the revenue records in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order.
