The learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 3 and 4, on instructions, submitted that the petitioner’s representation would be considered within the time that may be fixed by this Court. 4. Recording the above submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of with a direction to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner’s representation dated 03.03.2026 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
If the fourth respondent finds that the subject property belongs to the petitioner, appropriate steps shall be taken either to remove the road laid on the property or, in the alternative, to award compensation in accordance with the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
