Heard both sides. 3. With regard to the prayer that had been sought for in the present application, a report had been called for from the office of the Official Liquidator. A report had been filed by the Official Liquidator, indicating that, as per the records maintained by the company, which is under liquidation, https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis COMP.A No. 36 of 2026 __________ Page3 of 5 Document No.4127 pertaining to the applicant, had been found and on examination of the said document, an endorsement had been made by the company in liquidation as early as on 30.04.1996 that the loan had been fully discharged. In view of the specific statement made in the report, this Court is of the view that the applicant had discharged the mortgage created by him in favour of the company in liquidation. 4. Accordingly, this Court is of the view that the second respondent can also be directed to make an entry with regard to the discharge of the loan as recorded by the company as early as on 30.04.1996. 5. Accordingly, this application stands disposed of with a direction to the 2nd respondent to make an entry in the register regarding the discharge of the mortgage loan created under Document No.4127 on its file. Such entry shall be made within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
