The cause title of the writ petition be amended accordingly. Affidavit of service filed by the petitioner is taken on record. The petitioner is working as an assistant primary teacher in Murikhawa Free Primary School under Phansidewa Circle and seeks transfer to any other school near her residence on the ground that the distance between her residence and the school where she is presently working is 433 kilometers for which she is compelled to reside outside her residence. The petitioner submitted a representation in this regard before the concerned authority on July 27, 2026 through UTSASHREE portal which is yet to be 2 considered. The petitioner seeks consideration of the same. In view of the above, the Secretary, West Bengal Board of Primary Education, being the 4th respondent herein, is directed to consider and dispose of the representation submitted by the petitioner on July 27, 2026 within four weeks from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, in accordance with law. The decision taken by the authority shall be communicated to the petitioner within a week thereof. The writ petition is disposed of. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the writ petition are deemed not to have been admitted.
