Prayer in W.P.No.24298 of 2026: This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Certiorari calling for the records relating to the common impugned proceedings issued by the second respondent in Ref.No.683/PE2/2026-4 dated 08.06.2026 and quash the same, in so far as the petitioners are concerned. The petitioners were appointed as Deputy Managers (Dairy Chemist), now redesignated as Deputy Manager (Quality Assurance) in various District Co-operative Milk Producers’ Unions. Considering the grievances of the employees subjected to frequent inter-union deployments, the second respondent in respective writ petitions issued Circular dated 29.12.2025 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP Nos.24288, 24292 and 24298 of 2026 __________ Page5 of 8 directing the employees to ordinarily continue in their parent unions and that deployments to other unions should be made only for valid administrative reasons. Pursuant to which, the petitioners who have been serving in other district Unions on “On Duty” basis for several years, were reposted to their respective parent District Co-Operative Milk Producers Unions. However, by impugned proceedings dated 08.06.2026 and 29.05.2026 respectively, the petitioners were once again transferred on “On Duty” basis to far-off stations. Challenging the same, the present writ petitions have been filed. 3. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record. 4. Though the writ petitions have been filed for the above reliefs, considering the fact that the petitioners have made requests to the second respondent for re-considering the transfer, the said representations shall be considered and disposed of and while considering the same, the second respondent shall also take note of the fact that, some of the applicants have been transferred just few months prior to the second transfer by virtue of the impugned orders dated 08.06.2026 and 29.05.2026 respectively and take a call on these applicants as well. The said exercise shall also be completed within a period of two weeks from today. Till such time, the impugned orders dated 08.06.2026 and 29.05.2026 issued by the second respondent shall be kept in https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis WP Nos.24288, 24292 and 24298 of 2026 __________ Page6 of 8 abeyance. Since the order is passed in the presence of the learned counsels as well as the officials concerned, the learned counsels shall not await the certified copy of the order. 5. With the above observation and directions, these writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
